  Customer service was never consistent. Owner charges tax on newspapers, which I knew they didn't have to pay but called just in case to make sure. The Press Register said they do not add tax nor charge those that sell their papers tax.
  It may only be a few cents but it's the principal. When I asked him why and let him know politely what I found out, I was told, "well don't buy the paper here". So I don't
  
  I don't know how much the cashier have changed. Hopefully for the better.
  
  Super high gas prices when compared to surrounding gas stations.
